As an avid fisherman all my life, I was always looking for ways to increase my chances of catching those trophy fish. While ice fishing at night for walleyes I tried using reflective tape, spot lights, anything that I thought might allow me to see fish strikes at night from a distance.
In the early 1990’s my father and I set out to create a tip up light that would allow you to see fish strikes on your tip up from a distance and at night and see what’s going on under the ice.
Working from my garage we developed and tested many prototypes until we perfected the “Lighthouse Tip-Up Lights” Named for its unique spinning action when a fish strikes. While other tip up lights are available on the market which are only flag bearing, ours is the only one with this unique spinning action and ability to tell you how much line is being pulled from your spool. Unlike other tip up flag lights, our tip up light is mounted to the T bar which spins when the fish pulls out the line.
We remain a family business so each light we sell has to meet not only your expectations, but also our high standards.
